Most of us come from countries where we know that if we get judicial decisions that we are not happy with, we can appeal to a higher level court. I am not addressing the legal basis for an appeal (which may or may not exist) but the concept of an appeal itself. Is there such a concept in Israel in the family court? If so, how does it work? Does it apply only to final judgements or is it relevant for judicial decisions as well?
