How do appeals in family court work? Is there a time limit? Will the same judge hear the appeal? Is it even before one judge?
Believe it or not, this question has come through my office doors in various different flavors, many times throughout the years.
It doesn’t matter whether you win in the family court (and the other side appeals) or if you lose in the family court (and then you may decide to appeal), there is a proper methodology to appealing final judgements in Israel, and the better you know how the system works the better prepared you will be for what comes next.
